3RD GRADE TEACHER
My name is Miss Katie Neenan and I am so excited to be your third grade teacher! This is my fourth year teaching at Columbus Academy, but my first year in third grade. I also just finished my ninth summer working with the summer program at CA!
I went to Gahanna schools growing up and then graduated from the University of Dayton. I am a huge Notre Dame football fan and also love UD Flyer basketball. My family is really important to me. I have one sister, Colleen and one brother, John.
When I'm not teaching, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I also love to travel, read, spin, watch movies and do yoga.
I can't wait to learn about each of you. We will have a wonderful year together!

3RD GRADE ASSOCIATE
My name is Sue Figlik. I have lived in Lewis Center with my husband, Tom and daughter, Sarah, since 2005. Sarah is 17 and a senior in high school, and we have a dog named Storm who lives to eat treats and fetch balls! Previously our family lived in Chicago, Illinois where I was born on March 20, 1966.
I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Russian Studies and continued there for my graduate work in Education. I also teach preschool in our summer programs and work in our CASE program during the school year.
My favorite hobbies are hiking, playing the piano, poetry, and walking Storm! I love every opportunity to teach children and enjoy the privilege of spending our school days together!
